During our stay in Las Vegas four of the guys (Jesse, Peter, Joey, and Anthony) form what the rest of the guys called a the Italian Clan hheheheh They got tired of Ishe voicing his opinion about the guys records and they decided to bring Ahmed back to make Ishe lose his composure again. However, Ahmed came back a different manwell not that different cuz he still talked a lot of trash but he seemed more humble! I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but he was CHANGED. Because of the rules, Ahmed was not allowed to be called out the first fight of his return, so Sergio and I knew that either of us was going to fight Ishe (due to the fact that the Italian Clan wanted to get rid of Ishe). Therefore, even though there was not team concept in the Final 8 round, still there was teams. The rest of us was trying for the Italian Clan not to win the challenge. Now, I am the worst athlete in the world so our hopes were on Sergio and Ishe, but those Italians are strong athletes. =)

I noticed that Jesse was mad at me. So I confronted him about it. He said that he overheard Ishe ask me before the Miguel vs Manfredo fight, Who do you want to fight in the second round? and I said Well between Jesse, you (Ishe) and Sergio I think Jesse is the slowest and I dont want to fight a fast fighter in the second round due to the fact that I got cut and I dont want it to re-open. I guess he took that a little too personal and I told him that if he would have asked me that same questions, I would have responded the same thing. I earned his respect for confronting him about it, and I guess thats the reason he chose Sergio to fight Ishe instead of me.

Before the fight I noticed how different Ishe and Sergio are from each other. Ishe gets in a fight mode. He goes in his room and reads the bible all day and listens to Christian music. He doesnt talk at all. Sergio on the other hand does not change his personality. He still jokes around, comes out of his room to play poker or pool with us. He still socializes. My heart was split in this fight because I was close to Ishe being his room mate and all, but I built a bond with Sergio throughout the weeks. However, since Ishe chose me as his second I had to do my best to guide him to victory. It was a very close fight. Going into the fifth I told Ishe To me the fight is 2-2, you need this round convincingly to win the fight Sergio was landing more punches and was winning the round, until 10 seconds before the bell. Ishe landed a right hook on Sergios temple that wobbled him. After the bell rung, Sergio was about to fall but Jeremy (bald coach) jumped inside the ring and lifted Sergio in the air. It was very very close fight and for the first time there was a split decision.

Note: A few weeks back, Ishe started labeling everything he wanted for himself ISHES WATER DO NOT TOUCH ISHES APPLE DO NOT TOUCH ISHES PIE DO NOT TOUCH. I really didnt care (it was actually pretty funny) but the rest of the guys got annoyed by this. So after Ishe left the loft, Jesse grabbed some cups, poured Ishes water in it, and wanted to toast. I joined in not to disrespect Ishe nor to toast for his lost, but to toast for Sergios victory.

To Ishe: Oh well my brother, you win some and you lose some. It wasnt your time to shine, but Im sure youll be back because you have what it takes to be a champ.

To Sergio: Congratulations on making it to the Final 4.without a scratch on you. hehehe
