Wow, we getting so close to the Final 8 to begin fighting. Im so excited and thrilled at what comes next.

After the Bonstane vs Cooper fight, I went up to the ring to say a few words to Brent Cooper, but when I saw his swollen eye I chocked a little. My eyes got watery when I saw Brents eyes filled with sadness. I got out of the ring because I felt the tears coming. I didnt want anyone to see me cry so I held them. I had not cried in years and I am not an emotional person at all. I can actually count the times Ive cried with one hand. However, being in The Contender some how got a hold of my emotions and shook them. Once I calmed down, I saw Brent sitting down with his wife. I told him Im sorry I accepted Anthonys decision and before I could even say anything else, his eyes of sadness broke my heart again and my eyes got watery and I walked away. Brent noticed this so he began to follow me. I got in a corner and Ishe looks at me and says Alfonso are you okay? I started sobbing quietly cuz I didnt want cameras filming me. Hehehe And Ishe asks, Alfonso, are you crying? I say Yes and he starts crying too. About that time, Brent caught up with me and he began crying too and the three of us (Ishe, Brent and me) were all crying. Heheheh I really can not explain why I cried. My emotions took control of me. I consider myself a person who thinks before he acts, but during the fight I lost it. I even told Anthony Bonsante, Your win is a sour victory for the West team I saw Anthonys eyes and he seemed sadden by this. He really was expecting everybody to understand his decision.

I was waiting to see Juan fight because nobody knew anything about him, however, everyone assumed he was one of the best. During his fight with Tarick he didnt show me much. Maybe he was stiff because it was the first time he fights on National TV or because he was fighting Tarick (Once 4th in the world). What ever the reason was, I felt that Juan wasnt as good as everyone thought he was. He did show me that he is strong like a bull and very very aggressive. Taricks 3 years off really affected him during the fight. He couldnt be more rusty. His original plan was to box Juan and counterpunch him, but Juans aggressiveness seem to take a toll on Taricks legs.

Funny thing about Tarick: Before the contender, Tarick had never ever eaten Oatmeal. One morning, one of the other guys asks him if he wants oatmeal. Taricks says he never had that before. After that morning, Tarick had oatmeal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am not joking! He loved it. ehehhe

To Juan: You once said you would love to fight me because both our styles would clash into a non stop war. I agree. I hope we get to fight in the Final 8. =)

To Tarick: I know you were rusty from all the time you were off boxing. Dont worry, you still got you 20 in. *%#@, and no one can take that way. hehehe
